Three theories for the future of the Universe are so far been established by modern science:

1. The universe has been expanding slowly that the gravitational attraction between the different galaxies causes the expansion to slow down and eventually to stop. The galaxies start to move toward each other and the universe contracts. It starts from Zero, increases maximum then decreases to zero ​again.

(Creation, as well as dissolution of the universe, has also been accepted by the modern science by this theory)

2. The universe is expanding so rapidly that the gravitational attraction can never stop in, though it does not slow down a bit. It starts from zero and raising—Galaxies are moving apart at a steady speed.

3. The Universe is expanding only just fast enough to avoid collapse. It starts from Zero and increases forever. However, the speeds at which the Galaxies are moving apart get smaller, although it never reaches Zero.

Edwin Hubble observed that this universe has been expanding at every moment. Accordingly, if we project this theory far back to the past 15 Bn years or so. It will appear that the universe, is almost shrinking to a point. The primaeval atom with infinite density called Singularity would be the beginning and end of time. Most astrophysicists, therefore agree that at some point in the past, some might have set the Universe, on a dramatic journey of constant expansion. This event is called The Big Bang. At some point, due to excessive force at the core, the primordial atom exploded, the universe started expanding and its age is increasing ever since.
