Self Induced Trance

It's been a long time! Good to be back and hit the keyboard hard.

Few days back I was discussing about being self content in a positive way, with one of my friend. The discussion took a U-Turn when I quoted one of my friend (Mr. Rishi Gupta), which he had specially quoted for me, which goes like 'Men are born to live in trance, if-self induced, then one is enlightened'.

"The art of Self Induced Trance is a great weapon to have". And it is so. When-ever we are engaged in vivid mental imagination/work, heated arguments and rigorous work, the waves are in Beta range. When one takes a break from the heavy load of responsibilities and try to relax for a while, the brain emits Alpha waves. During vacation, when we experience the mood of fun, the mind is sending Theta range waves. Even when we are fast asleep, the brain remains active and emanates waves - sometimes Theta and occasionally Delta.

This state is referred when the brain emit the Theta or Delta waves is referred to as state of thoughtlessness.
The term of Self Induced Trance is referred to being in the state of thoughtlessness when the type of work you do doesn't matter.
